Some news around the pinball world

It’s more than two weeks from my latest post, so it’s about a time to write something. Here are some news around the pinball world:

The first part of in-depth review of Stern’s new Avatar game is in Pinball News. Martin also put up a really good event report about the UK Pinball Party. Check out especially the credits for additional photography. ;)

Jörgen Holm won the main tournament of Borås Pinball Open played in Sweden last weekend. He also won the classics division and finished second in split flipper competition with Mats Runsten. Impressive playing! Full event results can be seen in this thread.

Dutch Pinball Open 2010 will be played on 6-7th November 2010 in the town of Steenwijk. Already six Finns have registered and I’m one of them. Having really enjoyed the concept of UK Pinball Party, it was great to see that also DPO has the same idea of having the event in a hotel. I’m really looking forward to this trip!
